				 | Anyone here using instant messengers to communicate with parents? My parents are over 50 and I would love to sometimes communicate with them that way instead of having to use the phone, but it looks like they would never get used to it.... Anyone here doing it ?

				 | I tried with mine with MSN. I set their comp up to auto login. They didn't know how to click the orange flashing message window that was minimized in the task bar so I gave up. |

				 | I chat with my mom once a week. My dad is hopeless when it comes to anything other than forwarding email, so he just gets mom to relay his messages. He's in his late 50's and too damn stubborn to learn. |

				 | I thought the same thing about my mother, so I hired a kid from my old high school and he went to her house every day for a week or so until she knew how to do it herself. She's in Maine and I'm in Australia. Now she can even send photos. And I'm sure she's older than your grandmother |
