Why does paypal have such a bad rep with some people?
i have used them for over 2 years, with higher amounts of money IE 3k+/month and i have never had any problems.
over the past 2 days i have had a block on my card but that was due to me making alot of purchases on Saturday, in which i am glad they blocked it because it shows they are actually paying attention to my account. for mainstream paypal for me is.  (waiting for some webmaster who cant read rules to post paypalsucks.com) |

They used to block some accounts for strange activities in the past (freezing the funds) and their 'seller protection' terms may sound a bit weird under certain circumstances, but I think they're OK, too...

it's excellent for mainstream use, for adult there's epassporte. I don't see a problem either... face it every single one of us wishes we had thought of this first.

People who started using them early on hate them, because their original business plan was to freeze x amount of dollars every year to make up for the fact that they weren't profitable. Things have gotten much better since they sold to ebay.
Also, 3k is not a higher amount, it's average. People have had 10k+ accounts stolen.
