When making free sites I assume I need to add 2257 info on the site. Is it alright to put the sponsors 2257 or do I need to obtain a copy of the records and keep them on hand here?

If you use sponsors content, then you can put their 2257 info

Yes a link to the sponsor is good. Might be good to make a 2257 page yourself at some point and link to various sponsors from there too.
