Matrix patent...
THE Japanese entertainment giant Sony has patented an idea for transmitting data directly into the brain, with the goal of enabling a person to see movies and play video games in which they smell, taste and perhaps even feel things, it was reported today.

100% PR Bullshit.
There's absolutely no science here, nor even the suggestion of a viable method for achieving the objective. "A technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation uses magnetic fields to induce currents in brain tissue, thus stimulating brain cells." Oh, please. There has been no experimentation in this direction whatsoever, by Sony or anybody else. So there is no data of any sort. Nor have magnetic fields ever been focused finely enough to influence even large brain regions, much less the kind of control necessary to induce "pictures". Nor is there even any data to suggest that brain waves can be influenced in ANY way by this kind of field. "Sony Electronics spokeswoman Elizabeth Boukis said the work was a "prophetic invention" and no experiments at all had been done on it." Oh, okay. j-
