codec question
hi,
i taped a video on my miniDV camera, and cant get it to play on another computer, although it captured to the hard drive fine.. i downloaded the divx.com codec and it still didnt play.. are there any special codecs i have to get for it to work? thanks.

There is.
You should head over to your manufacturer's website and download the software, if it wasn't bundled with your camera (it usually is). Once you get their software fired up, it should work well, and you could probably edit and export as other formats. |

dv is the actual codec i guess... any windows media player should be able to play it... its built into all windows now... maybe download the newest windows media player?
