Service sucking, payments slow etc. Pretty common during, and days after conventions etc.

Not all programs are like that. A few send checks early. But over the years I have noticed many programs just plain suck during conventions when it comes to servicing problems and paying on time.

thats extremely unprofessional, and personally I wouldn't trust my monies with a company that didnt pay on time every time. There is no excuse to delay your payments.

I don't think it's normal, it would be highly unprofessional and I would immediately stop sending traffic. Tell them you will stop sending traffic every second you step out of your home
