Is It Normal For A Sponsor Not To Pay When . . .

they are at Phoenix Forum?

Just curious. I'm not about to start slagging off a program. I just want to know if this is the norm.

Service sucking, payments slow etc. Pretty common during, and days after conventions etc.

I think its normal as long as everything goes back to normal when they get back.

I was hoping it was the norm. It seems like an unprofessional way to run a business but as long as its the norm I'll chill a little.

I think all webmasters should go on vacation and stop sending traffic.

Furious_Male 04-03-2005 09:31 AM

Not all programs are like that. A few send checks early. But over the years I have noticed many programs just plain suck during conventions when it comes to servicing problems and paying on time.

Don't they leave some of their staff at home? Or does every company drag everyone to shows? hehe

thats extremely unprofessional, and personally I wouldn't trust my monies with a company that didnt pay on time every time. There is no excuse to delay your payments.

You would think. But keep in mind many of these fall on a weekend as well when even those that didn't go to the event are off.

On a related topic.. Its always suprised me how hard it is to get support on weekends from an internet company. The internet doesn't sleep or take days off there should be weekend staff on for EVERY big player.

Exactly. It's a basic principle of business.

I don't think it's normal, it would be highly unprofessional and I would immediately stop sending traffic. Tell them you will stop sending traffic every second you step out of your home :upsidedow

I fell you... :disgust

Amazing the amount of "programs" out there that don't even have proper support during the week let alone on weekends...
