Why don't affiliate programs run their own TGPs?

I wonder how long it will take before affiliate programs start launching their own TGPs, and adding them to their "Promo Tools" section.

What is the need for outside TGP traffic? Why not start your own traffic network?

I run many many TGPs beyond my Affiliate Program... I'm sure I'm not the only one... that would be crazy.

Do you list your TGPs in your affiliate program, and give affiliates partner accounts?

Nope. They are all fake (Don't have time to run a real one). Loaded with my 700 hosted galleries, and everyone elses.

Interesting. I wonder why it's not the standard. Alot of the affiliate programs that I have accounts with, only have FHGs or banners, and that's about it for the marketing tools. You would think they would make nearly everything available, to give the affiliate the widest spectrum of possibilities so that they can promote them in different ways.

You'd be surprised at how many TGP's ARE run by large companies. Who do you think owns Sublime DIrectory and their network of sites? Do a whois.

I guess my question is this... Why not incorporate the TGP into the affiliate program, if you run a program & TGPs, it would make sense to open up partner accounts to your affiliates and plug them into the program, for easy access/submissions.

it's much easier to have your affiliates do all of the footwork and you can just shave them 20% on their stats

Why?

When you have your own traffic you will know the answer to your question...

We're just finishing putting together our first 2 www.teenangelsexposed.com and www.dreamteenstgp.com

We plan to use it (once traffic is nice and high) to reward affiliates with ad free spots, etc.

Well let's see let's give an affiliate half of the money to post galleries to our own tgps instead of taking all of the money off our own traffic.

Let's think reall hard on that one.

THE IDEA IS TO GET AFFILIATES THAT HAVE ALTERNATIVE TRAFFIC SOURCES THAT THEY DON"Y ALREADY TAP.

You'll find that most programs have their own traffic generating network which in most cases includes a handful of TGPs.

Look at bangbros, twistys, nubiles etc.

Which TGP owns or is owned by Nubiles. That's a great site. I know the others.
