I have to admit I don't know a lot about search engine optimization.... but how are sites on Ebay people are selling have a page rank of 3 when the site is not even developed, and when I do a search in google, very little is found??? Any ideas?

Ignore PR - its not that important anymore...............despite what SEO`s wanna tell you. Im PR3 and number one for all my keywords in google...........above all the PR6-7 sites.

PR does not make you money.
Results make you money. PR does not equal results. (I have PR2 sites that come up above my own PR4 sites for certain terms.) Conclusion - fuck PR. |

Yep, PR is dick all right. Getting a PR 3 is a piece of piss, a single link from a PR 4 page usually does it.
Concentrate on good quality links from relevant (hopefully 'authority') sites
