Hrmph, i believe in 1996 the first rule of a webmaster was...
If they shall build it they will come rule does not apply... the .com failure was reproof of this concept........ even with marketing they might not come. Worse yet, if they do come, will they buy? NOooo Proven tactic, give em everything free, and they will continue to come problem is you go broke doing so unless you devise a plan to make money for non tangible goods so that you make the other guy fail, and not yourself ;) i.e. yahoo gives free email, free games, etc etc charge webmasters 200-600/year to be in their phoney directory listings where they manipulate the description so they keep the traffic for themselves |
