My girl moved in and she brought her 2 cats...They like me but it's starting to get on my nerves....cat owners please answer the following:

1- Did you spend thousands of dollars on furniture so that they can sit there and get hair all over them to the point where I can't even enjoy lounging?

2- Why do they shit in a box...why can't I let them out to stink up the lawn instead of the house?

3- IS there a way to keep them off the couch and kitchen counters where I find kitty litter where I prepare food?

theres a spray thing that you can buy at PetSmart, just spray it on your furniture and get the cat a scratch post that also has a place for it to sleep in.

1. Take you GF's Nair and rub it all over them.
2. Put the box outside or in the garage or buy a dog he will eat the shit.
3. Not much you can do when you aren't around. Just remember when you eat next that the crunch in your food maybe a cat shit covered chunk of kitty litter.

you can actually train cats not to sit or walk on certain areas:

First you should ignore it when you seem them do it: displaying your dislike
will motivate these little fuckers to make that spot their prefered place.

Once the cats are settled down and only hit certain spots when they feel like it (as in the couch or the kitchen counter ach such) force them to stay on it.
Real simple.. if the cat jumps onm the counter and tries to move on..hold him
and keep him there for a minute. You will notice hell avoid those spots remembering his or her imprisonment.

Deal with cats the oppposite as you deal with dogs and youll be fine. The worst thing
a cat can think of is someone being his or her boss or having control.

A simple squirt gun keeps my cats from going/doing what they shouldn't. Cheap, simple, effective, and harmless.

About the box... not much you can do other than be glad they use it and don't have accidents around the house.

Yes, the make them stay in the spot you wish them to avoid works.

Squirt guns/bottles are messy and in my case would ruin my antiques.

I use a can of "air", the kind you use as a duster to clean key boards, THEY HATE THAT air spray and no water mess.

I do the canned air thing too, I just have to pick up the can and they stop whatever they are doing and run.

Most of the time it's because one is picking on the other.
