Paypal and non-adult business question.

Has anybody used paypal for his or her non-adult online business? I was doing a little research and the only negative thing I think would be that the customer has to make a paypal account before they could check out. Paypal's fees are 1.9% - 2.9% and .30 per transaction. Have I missed anything does anybody know paypal better? Think the customer would mind making an account at paypal to pay for stuff online?

They don't even need a paypal account if you have a business account with paypal. Then they can just pay you via a credit card form at paypal.

But I would still not trust paypal too much. Remember to withdraw your money regularly. Never leavy any substantial amount in your account.

PayPal is still a preferred online processing service. It's only a tiny % of people (Adult users) that have any problems with them.

i used paypal for a few years selling non-adult items. problems occur when there monitoring software detects unusual paterns. for example, i was receive x dollars every day for months. then i started sending twice that amount to another paypal account. both accounts where suspended. go to paypalsucks.com for futher examples.

as long as ur consistent with in and out flow of money, there will be no problems.

based on paypal fees, after about $50 in sales per month, u start saving money with buyerzone.

I've been involved in a lot of mainstream businesses including online electronics and toys. We used paypal ALL THE TIME! I would say for internet sales 80%-90% of the customers paid with paypal. I have never really had any problems with PayPal.
