I'm not trying to pretend this is a generic adult type-in name, and I'm not asking $35k for it either ;)

Traffic is actually quite stable and so are the revenue numbers. What is important is that we are NOT dealing with any sort of link traffic, this is PURE type-ins.
In the event empornium.us were to close we would still receive a steady flow of traffic and there are many ways to use this traffic as a launching pad for a self-contained site and actually GROW traffic from there.

lokitorrent.com was shut down

These sites risk being shut down, when they do they go around changing names if the owners dont end up behind bars.
Surfers visiting these sites are mostly from countries that dont even own credit cards, and since they know the entire torrent thing I doubt anyone is interested in buying anything.

The name is making $800+ monthly, however you put it I would not call that "worthless".

On another note, the traffic is coming in as type ins (of course due to the poublarity of the .US version), this is NOT link traffic. Even if the .US were to shut down, we would continue seeing significant traffic on this name for a while. There are many ways to actually turn such a situation around and grow the traffic by for example developing the site and using its intrinsic traffic as a leverage.
Lastly, unlike the other torrent sites mentioned above, empornium.us is porn-only and has pretty strict rules which mitigate the probability of being shut down.

Fris and others, thanks for the input. I would actually not be selling this domain if it were not for personal short term liquidity issues. There is a risk/reward factor to consider and I think at $10k I am not making things go out of hand. In any event, I will consider all reasonable offers for this domain name.

It's traffic levels are directly linked to the traffic/popularity of the site that typo is comming from.

That site dies, so will your typin traffic because the free publicity will die as well
