what is this "error 999" I keep getting from Yahoo Group?
Every damn time I a visit a few yahoo groups, after 200 or so, I get this message:
"Unable to process request at this time -- error 999 Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later." And I cannot visit anymore groups for another 5-12 hours. The few people I contacted had no problem accessing Yahoo groups while I couldn't so I suspect they don't want us to visit too many groups and use this BS "error 999" to lock us out, sort like a cool off period. Is there a way I can bypass this "error 999" ? |

You can use a proxy
![]() And yes its basically a yahoo lockout procedure for any of yahoo services that feel you might be abusing the software.
