It would be smart of them to. Just learning from the lessons of the past Net bubble.

I used to work for a venture capital/incubation firm where the top partners made $70M in stock deal with C|Net. They could have cashed in when C|net was really high but they opted to wait for it to explode... it never did. Company folded.

Fuck that would be tough to live with...they should have at least cashed out 10-15 million. Of course few back then saw the bust coming.
