Yesterday we databased 6,072,388 queries from the p2p networks. This does NOT represent the total p2p searches but it is a very large sample.

Then I'd say you need to look long and hard at the data you get and the way you analyze it. The results as they stand are simply very innacurate. Just a glance will tell anyone with half a brain that surely?

Keep in mind too that we have pre-filtered out the ch... porn requests from this database.

Indeed, 6 million queries is a fraction of the total amount.

Agreed, These are the top results out of those 6 million requests. The total daily volume is roughly 10 times that.

Are the results geo sorted.... it looks like that they could be weighted towards non english and/or euro trafic

PS: Brad, is the list in any way filtered out for CP or adult listings? Seems odd that the first porn term appears #53 in the list. Is your sampling based on a specific server or is it network wide?

Yes, all CP has been filtered. In fact most of the top porn searches had CP keywords so they got dumped.

We are connectiong to about 500 ultrapeers and supernodes to get this data so it's a pretty wide spectrum.
