What version are you using? 1.01 is out now and I haven't had any problems since I updated. 1.0 ALWAYS crashed on me.

For some reason, whenever I click any link from http://www.victoriassecret.com, firefox crashes. I've tried it many times... pretty strange.

Hmmmm. Haven't had any problems since updating. Not a computer whiz by any means, so I couldn't even begin to tell you where to look. I'll ask my tech guy though. He's pretty good with Mozilla shit.

Same here. Only issue is still some sites have content that doesn't mix well with Firefox but that'll change soon.

1gb ddr400 ram, PQI
Abit KV8 Max3

I run this pc stable for 7 months now, restarting only when I update windows.

Windows XP Pro, SP1 + all updates
SP2 sucks donkey balls

Firefox is extremely stable browser.

Sometimes that happens to me too. When ever I feel that FF is starting to lag, I close it down and restart my session (all tabs are intact). Just download the extension that allows you to save your currnt session.
Problem solved

No. Firefox *does* crash. Often. It's buggy and you should not use it. Please.

(Firefox is successful because people don't use it in the same numbers as IE. As it becomes more popular the viruses, trojan horses, buffer overflow exploits, will become more common and we're back to square one.)

I'm the power-user, multitasker that opens 3 different browser windows with like 5 tabs in each.

And yes, Firefox DOES crash, but it's still better than IE in so many ways.

FireFox hasn't crashed for me yet. IMO it's faster and much more stable than IE.

The more tabs open, the worse off you are. Hopefully they can release an update that helps reduce the load.

I'm getting fed up with how firefox handles embeded movies. Dare click the volume slider and you lose your video.

firefox and mozilla seem to have a problem with being left alone. It's when I leave it open and walk away, I have a hard time with it when I return. But if I close it down when I leave and open a new one when I return, I never have any problems.

Even if I use it for 14 hours straight, it's fine... it's only when I let it sit for an hour or so.

Never crashed for me, and I have a pretty low-grade system.
Athlon XP 1800
XP Pro Standard
512 ddr

I often have 20+ tabs open, and 15+ programs in the task bar at any given time during a work day too. I'm lucky I guess.

I have the exact same thing happen to me with PS and Dream too.
I wonder if there is a way around it without having to close down the programs.
