Whats the deal with FireFox wtf
250k bloated fuckin piece of shit. Crashes daily blah blah
I dumped it as well..it took over certain things and I had to assign another account so fuck it..I'll use something more stable
What version are you using? 1.01 is out now and I haven't had any problems since I updated. 1.0 ALWAYS crashed on me.
For some reason, whenever I click any link from http://www.victoriassecret.com, firefox crashes. I've tried it many times... pretty strange.
i've never had firefox crash on me once. and its faster then IE now.
im using 1.0.1 or whatever is the newest, the damn thing balloons to over 250k everyday then crashes. God if it werent for IE headaches I would dump this shitbox right now
Hmmmm. Haven't had any problems since updating. Not a computer whiz by any means, so I couldn't even begin to tell you where to look. I'll ask my tech guy though. He's pretty good with Mozilla shit.
I have that problem sometimes, I can't wait for the next update to come. It's long overdue.
I wasted an hour trying to figure how to change back to my original user name.I would get this error saying already in use..fucker locked me out and this was after I updated to the new version on Friday

No. Firefox *does* crash. Often. It's buggy and you should not use it. Please.
(Firefox is successful because people don't use it in the same numbers as IE. As it becomes more popular the viruses, trojan horses, buffer overflow exploits, will become more common and we're back to square one.) |
I'm the power-user, multitasker that opens 3 different browser windows with like 5 tabs in each.
And yes, Firefox DOES crash, but it's still better than IE in so many ways. |
I have no problem with FF...
but I sometimes get asked to install the proper plugins (and I already have the plugins installed....this fucking bugs me...) |

I am having a problem with the screen moving up and down on its own. Moved about 1/8 of an inch up can down non stop.

you seem to have some confidential shit running there!! |
FireFox hasn't crashed for me yet. IMO it's faster and much more stable than IE.
The more tabs open, the worse off you are. Hopefully they can release an update that helps reduce the load.
I'm getting fed up with how firefox handles embeded movies. Dare click the volume slider and you lose your video.
firefox and mozilla seem to have a problem with being left alone. It's when I leave it open and walk away, I have a hard time with it when I return. But if I close it down when I leave and open a new one when I return, I never have any problems.
Even if I use it for 14 hours straight, it's fine... it's only when I let it sit for an hour or so. |
works just fine here
K-MELEON si the one and only browser, I've been using it for couple of years now, it's so much faster than anything else you're going to cream your pants ;)
Never crashed for me, and I have a pretty low-grade system.
Athlon XP 1800 XP Pro Standard 512 ddr I often have 20+ tabs open, and 15+ programs in the task bar at any given time during a work day too. I'm lucky I guess. |
Firefox Rules! :)

I wonder if there is a way around it without having to close down the programs. |
