I couldn't agree more. Perhaps it's time for general contest rules, for instance:
-You can only run a content for 7 days -You can only limit its posts to 3000 |

Well, making them smaller wouldn't solve the problem. Maybe if they limited to 1 contest thread a month per sponsor + the contest couldn't run for longer than a week. That would help.
