Getting excited about leaving next week on my first proper vacation in years (though I am working for part of it)...so, tell me what was your best vacation. Where did you go and why was it so good?

I think my best vacation was when Tony and I went to Epcot for our 1 yr anniversary. I had a great time with him. Everything is better with him!

Honeymoon, 1995 - cancun - all inclusive palace resort.

skinny wife, steaks all day.

It went downhill from there

Spending a few days in the Philly area with my parents and then spending ten days in San Francisco (somehwere I have wanted to go since I was in my early teens) and then the Pheonix Forum with some of the fine folks from here.

My first trip to Russia was by far the most interesting.

The most beautiful was Fiji/Australia (scuba diving helped cement the vote).

And the most adventurous was a cruise of the Caribbean: St.Lucia, Grenada, Curacao, Venezuela ... I'd go back to each island for a month!

I've been to Sicily a zillion times since I was a kid. My favorite was about 5 years ago when we also went up north and saw ALL of Italy. Rome, Venice, Sienna, Pisa, Livorno, Florence..u name it.
