First, there are many factors, including the quality and originality of the sites and how the members were acquired so far, and also the role of the owners in the business (perhaps they used to shoot reality content themselves using a friend's studio - a resource that will not be there when you take over).

1 year of profits is more logical, but then again - so many factors to consider.

Its amazing to see how many people in this thread dont really know where to find and how to build value.

Interesting though.

Its been my experience trying to buy or sell adult businesses that nobody buys at a reasonable rate. Example if I have a neighborhood business that nets the owner 250K a year I can get maybe 600K or more depending on the assets.

If I have a smiliar adult business that nets 250K a year you just aren't going to find anyone that will pay 600K cash 99 out of 100 times.

Just the way it is. Business is too risky, too full of fraud, and little conventional financing. That is why most sites just run into the ground instead of selling - they get more $ that way.

You would have to be very naive to belive in that... :2 cents:

Would there be any buyers out there?

I doubt it. There are way better ways to invest 2.5 million dollars.

People do buy them!

So, what's the standard ratio? (average ratio? any ratio?).

billing AT _ steadfastnetworks.com

They will get your Foundrynap servers back up. Just have to pay a bit more than Foundrynap charges. They were Foundrynap's upstream and have very good support by the look of it.

You could go with them and get your foundrynap servers back up or you could move to idealbandwidth.com and get the same foundrynap pricing or better. Highly recommend Idealbandwidth we had to move all our stuff their when Foundrynap went down and are very happy.
