I think I have to stick to Rogers/Radio Shack since I'm getting hooked up on my wireless through Rogers carrier. If I switch carriers, I doubt I can keep the same phone number.

I'm not sure how it's organized over there but over here you can switch carriers and keep your cell number without a problem. Of course I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle for you anyway! Hope you get your BB soon

Yup, we called all of them in BC too. They'll have the 7280 (no bluetooth) and 7100 (i hate the keyboard) in stock for sure, but apparently the 7290 is sold out canada wide. If you do find it somewhere, let me know and i'll buy it.

First day I got to use my 7100t. Spent 2 hours on it, calling, icq, and email. It is definately a life saver. Although it sucks never having a second to yourself, it is much better than lugging around a laptop with sat card on it.

Definately get the BB.

What the hell? Damn. Do you have either the phone number of address of the Rogers store you got it from? I'll go back on Monday and make them send me one.

number is 604 938 1909...

i still can't figure out this reply thing. now i'm at the point where sometimes replying will have the send option in the menu, and othertimes there is no send option. i can't see any rhyme or reason for it. argh. i love everything else about it, but damn is the random reply -> send option driving me crazy.

browsing seems quite good... though i've only really been surfing pda optimized sites so far. took about a minute for the regular version of gfy to load.

still having this reply to email problem - i'm going to the store today to talk to someone about it...

Well I went to my local Vodafone shop today... bit of a disappointment. As I could have expected the BB is totally Vodafonized, stuffing every piece of shitty service they offer in there. I'm really not sure if i should get it like that. Maybe I'll wait till some new phones arrive that suit my needs better. The Nokia Communicator 9300 caught my eye though because it's fairly small and very complete. I'm gonna look up some reviews on it and see if that might be worth my time.
