I know someone there that got laid off today. Not sure on the exact number (I am hearing about 35), but I believe most of the people effected are on the service side.

No matter how much you hate iBill, you have to feel bad for the people being laid off and their families. Most of the people there are good, hard working people who had nothing to do with the mess created by the people at Penthouse and IBD.

My heart goes out to the people fired today and I wish them all good luck.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I feel sorry for all the innocent people that have been caught up in this ibill mess. So many of their employees and clients. Totally fucked up.

OK... Getting these claims:

Quote:
A new circular has been issued by iBill to all iBill US merchants about a program of ?secured? funds being settled through an electronic stored value card provider.
Anyone had this or is it some old bullshit?

MacDaddyPlaya is right. IBill was built up by decent, hardworking people. The people getting laid off had nothing to do with the current situation there.

I had a thought that really made me sick. Ibill states that us clients willresume payouts on march 15th. Firstdata withholds the money for six months right? Six months from Sept 15th. Tell me firstdata isnt sending that money to ibill.

If they are and ibill pays from feb 16---28th, then thats not the amount that firstdata will be sending. EG screwed again guys if this is the case.

Anyone have any info on firstdata release? I just emailed them, if I get a response i will post it

So someone PLEASE tell me I am wrong
Deb

OK... Here's some stuff re EU payouts.... It now looks like we have another name entering the scenario - Trancentrix

Quote:
To all iBill EU merchants currently signed up for the Inteca program to receive funds direct from the acquiring bank on their accounts.
This is the first update since you signed up. The progress so far:
1. We now have a high percentage of the merchants signed up, at least in dollar terms. This has been a time-consuming affair, and I appreciate all the very long hours of the small Inteca staff to get this accomplished.

2. We have received written approval from the acquiring bank with the approval of the payment method and the amount of the intended first tranche to be paid. The subsequent tranches will follow rapidly; we want to ensure the system runs smoothly before paying out over $10 million in total. It is important you know that Inteca does not have any access to your funds throughout the process. The funds go directly from the acquiring bank to your bank.

3. The release document should be available tomorrow. This document will need to be signed by all merchants who want to use this program. As stated before, if the total due to you is less than $1,000, we can accept your electronic signature; for larger amounts we will need a fax, PDF or letter, signed by the authorized person. The release document will include all remittance instructions.

Do not sign the release at that stage. It will only be due for signing when we have shown the full amounts due to you in our records. These amounts will be split between the amounts due now, and the total amount of funds due to you in the future. These amounts will be available on this site and at iBill as soon as possible.
If there are any questions, please email to [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> and I will try to make sure we answer them promptly. We may display some answers on this board, if we get multiple questions of the same type.

4. Along with the Release Document, we will include a bank transfer data form for you to complete. We would appreciate this being done even if you are using the same bank data as at iBill at the moment, in order for us to have a complete file in Inteca?s records for distribution to the acquiring bank and the paying agent. You will see the name, Trancentrix, as part of the legal contract; this company manages the payment flow on behalf of Inteca. After the initial releases, you will be able to maintain this information on the IntECA web site should you need to change your beneficiary information in the future.
Please include the currency of your bank account on the form. If your account is in a currency other than US dollars, we may be able to reduce your wire transfer cost by making a local, domestic payment but this has to be made in the local currency

5. There is a shortfall in the amount due to you versus the amount available from the acquiring bank, based on money already settled to iBill. Inteca has had assurances from iBill they will make up this difference. We will keep you up to date in this regard, but I believe we are correct to keep moving forward as:
a. Many of you are very anxious to get funds that are extremely late as soon as possible.
b. The amount we do have at the acquiring bank represents between 80 and 90% of the relevant sum for distribution.

6. A new circular has been issued by iBill to all iBill US merchants about a program of ?secured? funds being settled through an electronic stored value card provider. This program has nothing to do with IntECA and should not be confused with it. (We do not express any opinion as to the worth or comparison value nor can we answer any enquiries regarding this new iBill program.)

7. We did want to get the account data to you by today, but the issues with iBill demand we delay for about two days. I am sorry that is happening, but hopefully it will not delay the process to any great extent.

8. I must ask that this information be kept confidential. We are trying to get you paid as fast as we can, but it is part of a negotiation involving both the acquiring bank and iBill. I should stress that if you find the terms of the release, or any other terms, unacceptable, you are fully entitled to withdraw from this program and try to recover your funds from iBill directly.
I ain't got no comment...

Yes that is especially what makes them a criminal organization; they commit a felony every day. Paying some webmasters with the money they stole from the rest is a crime. Many companies do this in the last few weeks of business before they close the doors, and it is illegal, not to mention immoral and only pond sucking scum would participate in it, may everyone at Ibill rot in hell.

There is a second wave of layoffs scheduled for 2:30 PM EST. Current management running that place are such complete scumbags. I still can not believe that there has not been a criminal investigation as to what went on and is going on there.

Anyone who continues to process with them is contributing to the scam and will eventually fall prey to it. The only goal of the current management team is to get THEIR money our of the company. I think this was pretty evident when they came out with the GKARD, received funds from the bank for it yet didn't pay the webmasters who converted to it.

They can no longer make payroll, so they have to fire (with minimal severence) the few loyal employees who stayed on board through it all. Its just a matter of time now.

DeadFidel - This shit is looking worse by the day. Forgetting the scammy management company (more on them later) Jason threw into iBill to allow them to take a back seat, - I get this gutty feeling a few people are in a rush at the moment and *something* is coming to a head.

March 9 was the day First Data originally were due to payout... but, if they have the sense they have shown so far, - they need to not pay iBill at this time.

Gotta say... despite the crap - I got some sympathy for the staff at iBill who have been manipulated for some time now.

See that Inteca stuff above. There are loads of EU webmasters who have not been paid. And... a separate company with anyone associated with iBill is ... well... maybe a legal entity, but going to be contaminted to hell and back with "associations" :-)

Just to let you know how bad the shit is, the people that were let go today weren't even given any severence. They will get paid through tomorrow and that is it.

People who were issued employment contracts ( an effort to keep people from leaving and taking clients with them) with guaranteed severence packages are also receiving nothing. Like every other agreement and contract these scumbags issue, they are not honoring it and never had any intention of doing so.

If you are still sending them any business at all, you are enabling iBill to continue to perpetrate fraud. STOP!!!!

are there any sponsors still using them? If so, I would love to have a list of people who I would NOT send my traffic to.. if they fucked over the US people then paid the Euro guys or vice versa I wouldn't trust my traffic to a sponsor still willing to use them because the tables can turn on anyone getting paid at any moment

Webby , the reference to the US secured system you were asking about.....is ibills new Gkard secured system where they supposedly dont get there hands on your money and it gets deposited into you account by wire or ACH....there supposed to payout on march 15th for the feb 16th-28th revenue from gkard credit card transactions ONLY !...no checks...no reserves.....so basically for most webmasters it amounts to about $1.95- 39.95 depending on if there obligatory 1 sale in that pay period re-billed or not
