Now get up and drink a glass of water! Everytime you see this thread drink a glass of water and then bump this thread again to help remind others drink water too....

One of the most important daily tasks is to drink plenty of water and yet we dont. Why is that? Why cant we drink enough water? Are we lazy being lazy? Do we think we are not thirsty? Do you have 8 glasses of water per day? Well i hope this thread will help you.

Everytime this thread is bumped, walk up to the kitchen and drink a glass of water and bump it back up to help others.

The human body will tell you when it needs water. You'll feel thirsty. It's evolved this mechanism over aeons.

Drinking too much water can be positively bad for you. Google for Leah Betts or hyponatraemia for more information.

Lastly, there's no evidence to suggest that drinking caffeinated drinks - tea or coffee - or weak alcoholic beverages - beer - do not serve to help hydrate the body [another part of the myth], so I'm off for a cup of tea.
