I would say that the time it takes to update and maintain the sites, depends on how you work... not much of a difference, and you can try new things with one of your tgps without risking all your traffic.
I don't agree about deleting trades, unless they are cheating, but that is just me.

Your site loads very slow.
Tgps are very hard to grow now a days, maybe try something in a smaller niche... and not mainstream thumbs that everynoe and their grandmas do.

The best way to get great productivity is to take your time, and dont try ti rush it. I have two of my few trades that are usually in the 300% range.

ok update time, my site (phatslinks.com) has a total prod of 431% yet still hasnt exploded, what am i doing wrong? should i just add a hit shotload of trades in 1 hit like 30 in a day and force each one 50 or something?

make sure your prod is 1.3 ( or 130% depending on script)

if it isn't drop bad trades, if that doesn't work add some movie links at the top and send 50% to trades (or more if needed), even small adjustments to the design can work wonders

Yep that is dead on. Treat the surfer like an idiot and he won't be back. When I am skimming tgps as a surfer, any thumbs or links that don't open to a gallery or do any other weird shit = I'm gone.

Ok, that might be your prefence as a surfer, but that cannot explain the massive amounts of traffic (and sales) pushed thru thumb preview sites each and every day.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. 9 out of 10 of the trash tgps skim outrageous amounts of traffic, link to something other then the what the surfer clicked, etc. With 10,000 tgps a day going online I think its gonna be real difficult to build up a new site that way. Also I am on the receiving side of a ton of that crappy skimmed traffic and I see the shitty ratios.

Not saying a few people can't make money out of it, but I find it impossible to believe a surfer would return to a tgp whose thumbs don't open up to what they promised; I bet the hun is happy as shit so few people follow his model of giving the surfer a fair deal, but as I said, I was just stating my opinion as a surfer, I build pay sites - not tgps.

Simple answer is the right trades as mentioned in other posts. Feed them with choker traffic (see sig). Set your sights a bit higher, say 100K hits.

I like the extra shit... but you need more thumbs dude... Go 90x120 and atleast 7 across and you need 3 sets of 35 minimum or a surfer is just going to think that you are wasting their time.

Everyone is talking about trades and other bullshit. Yes you need trades, that comes second.

You have to redesign you're site. Take you're site right now, that design is not going to make me or a surfer bookmark you're site. You need bookmaked traffic and first impression is everything for a tgp/mpg. And you have too few thumbs and too many ads. When a surfer comes ftom a tgp its you're job to make him hit x on the site you he came from and make them stay at you'rs. With a shitty design/badthumbs/toomuch ads all he is going to do is x out ur tgp and go back to the one he was originally.

Ok another thing, right now the thumbs on you're site are extremly bad. Dont take the thumbs that people submit to you. When some one submits a gall to me i go in the gall > photoshop a thumb to perfection. Yes it takes time, but it is so worth it.
