annoying htpasswd problem
Im needed to manual edit one of our .htpasswd files. But after downloading, half the user/pass words scroll across the top of the file instead of neat row to the left making it impossible to search - edit etc. checked it on 2 pcs - same problem. Its fucking annoying - any ideas how to fix or why it happend as its driving me nuts

Newline on unix and windows is different. Some text editors can't handle it and everything ends up being on one line.
I know UltraEdit and Wordpad can take care of it. I'm not sure about Notepad. |
