annoying htpasswd problem

Im needed to manual edit one of our .htpasswd files. But after downloading, half the user/pass words scroll across the top of the file instead of neat row to the left making it impossible to search - edit etc. checked it on 2 pcs - same problem. Its fucking annoying - any ideas how to fix or why it happend as its driving me nuts :helpme

Newline on unix and windows is different. Some text editors can't handle it and everything ends up being on one line.

I know UltraEdit and Wordpad can take care of it. I'm not sure about Notepad.

thanks it worked did a find replace list all spaced properly cheers :thumbsup
