				 | I believe it's short for Kilometer.  Why does the US Millitary use the Metric system, and the rest of the country not?  Kinda foolish,  metric just makes sense.

				 | Yeah, I heard people in Vancouver and Victoria say it all the time... not quite so prevalent out east here, which is odd considering the big naval base in town. Perhaps they prefer to think in knots (nautical miles). |
