Laptop Recommendations? $2500
Which laptop do you recommend for a $2500 budget? Needs to look good and weight light. Not for games, only for light stuff, word processing emails DVD watching etc.

If you want to spend $2500 you mind as well go all out. As you can get a fully loaded laptop around $1,400. You can go fully loaded and light for about $2,100. Sorry I don't have the time to help more.
good luck.

I am no dell fan. But when it comes to high end laptops, the Dell XPS Laptop is the best. Hands down.
http://www1.us.dell.com/content/prod...=19&l=en&s=dhs Close second is the Alienware laptop (I'n not an alienware fan either..) http://alienware.com/product_detail_...de=SKU-DEFAULT Both within your budget. Edit: Fully loaded and light are rather contradictory. |

are you looking for size or performance?
I've always wanted to get a smaller laptop but my need for image and video work always prevents me from getting it.

Because Mac Laptops are balls really. And I am really biased towards PC, but, still.. I find mac laptops to never last long, to scratch easily, to heat up very quickly, and they arent very powerful at all. I mean, the only people that buy them anymore are trendy coffee shop twenty somethings.
Wow. I feel lame saying that.. as I am only 17 ;o |

IBM, IBM, IBM, IBM
did I mention, IBM? IBM makes the BEST light-weight business-class notebooks, period. 3yr standard warranty on high-end models.
