D70 - because it feels good in my hand and it produces great pics. it's also easy to learn and shoots great even in auto mode (for us cam dummies).

Sony F-828, because it's easy to use, is fairly fast, isn't too big or bulky when shooting out and about. It's an 8 MP with a decent zoom, and uses compact flash now as well as the Sony Memory Sticks.

I have the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1

I like it because it takes nice high quality pictures, it has a nice big 2.5" LCD, it's pretty compact, and 5.1 megapixel You can't beat it.

I have a Canon EOS-1D MarkII with a Canon 24-70mm 2.8L lens and 550EX flash. I got this rig because [sarcasm]I like a point & shoot camera that's small, lightweight, easy to use, and fits in my pocket.[/sarcasm]

Okay, I have a Canon A95, 5 MP.

Why I love it ? Cause it's the best camera for this range of price (less than 500$ CAD). And Canon's cameras rock !

Our new Canon EOS-20d.
It's my favorite because it's super fast. It makes posing for pics a lot more fun!

kodak 14n (for strobe work, high rez, allows lots of cropping flexibility so you can get multiple high quality images out of one file) drawback is this camera is a little slow, is basically an 80 iso body so you must setup umbrella lights, but it is a full-frame camera so you can get true wide angle, and works good with wide angle zooms, so you can get shots the surfer does not ordinarily see.

nikon d1x (fast location work in avail light)

on location travel camera olympus 5050---this camera is small, inconspicuous and has a very fast f/1.8 so you can shoot quick candids in all avail light---excellent natural color, will take microdrive, good for webwork if you are doing photography where you need to get fast candids and attract minimal attention---also has a wireless remote so you can wear the camera around your neck like a tourist, and hold the credit card sized remote in a paperback book, and trigger the camera for location work.
