Very sorry to hear about your loss

86, it's nice that she was able to live to such a rich age, but still very sad, for those left behind, when someone wonderful passes on

My dad passed away about 7 months ago, but I still haven't really dealt with the loss completely, he was only 77, which doesn't seem that old nowadays (his dad, my grandpa lived to be 96)

The guy I am modeling, my life after is my grandpa's brother... he lived to be 96 also, but was kind and a lot of fun to be around...

always going to dances, always had a new girlfriend

86. Wow.. Thats a nice long life.
Something you can be thankful for. Sounds like she was a tough one. Most people who make it that long usually are.

I feel for your loss, and hope your grandmother is honored for all she accomplished for your family in her long life.

Take care of yourself bro.. And try and be there for your family.

I recently visited my great grandmother who is 84. She lives in a nursing home and she can't walk around; she has to sit with her feet up in a recliner.

She is still very sharp and we joked a bit about things, even death. She is not afraid of death, she has accepted it and is ready and waiting for the afterlife. She loves life, but doesn't want to break any longevity records either.

I hope I make it to the bonus round; it's nice when you beat the odds.

my condolences to you and yours

Hi babe, so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I have no grandparents either, mine are all gone and have been for years and years. And believe it or not, I still miss them terribly.

Barry..... have a little heart will ya, my god, there is a time and place and this is neither. I called my grandparents sweetie all the time. Why this strikes you as odd is beyond me, some of us love our grandparents so much that there just aren't enough nice pet names to call them. Jeez!!

You're totally correct; I'm a heartless, insensitive moron.

I apologize.

I mean I love my Grandmother too, but to kiss her goodnight and call her sweetie, well.... Maybe I didn't grow up in the same place you folks did.
