Something you can be thankful for. Sounds like she was a tough one. Most people who make it that long usually are. I recently visited my great grandmother who is 84. She lives in a nursing home and she can't walk around; she has to sit with her feet up in a recliner.
She is still very sharp and we joked a bit about things, even death. She is not afraid of death, she has accepted it and is ready and waiting for the afterlife. She loves life, but doesn't want to break any longevity records either. I hope I make it to the bonus round; it's nice when you beat the odds. my condolences to you and yours |
