Is CCBill the best processor to go with?

I guess I'm finally feed up with ibill and need to change. What do you all think about CCBill? Especially you that has dumped iBill already. If there are any iBill reps reading this post please do your best to save an account and tell me some good news.

is there really a need to compare 2 companies on different ends of the spectrum of success?

CCBill or iBill?

Which to go with.

If you can setup with CCBill easily, go for it for sure (imo).

I've been a very happy customer of Paycom's since '99. I just added CCBill as my 2nd processor.

I think CCBill has a much harder scrub then Paycom does, but I've got nothing against them. Use them and would promote people using them.

CCBill scrub like hell... but you get paid.

iBill don't scrub - they just process anything including scratch cards if there's a dollar in it for them... but you don't get paid.

Neither have any protection for clients in the event of their demise.

It's a hard choice

CCBILL for sure.. If you can cascade, throw PAYCOM into the mix.

If you want to continue with the politics of 3rd party processors, then pick your poison between what is left. If you want to control your destiny and maintain control of your joins which is in essence your business, then contact Mitch at Netbilling.com and get your own merchant account. Whatever you don't process cascade to either CCBill or Paycom. For 2k and a the time it takes to fill out the application, it will be well worth it.

We have our own merchant account, with CCBill as a backup. Perfect combination.

Don't you have to be processing $25k monthly for a merchant account and have a 3 month financial history? That may not seem like a lot to the program owners, but to a 1-man operation, $25k is 33 daily transactions at $24.95 a pop.

I would fork over the money to setup Epoch and CCBill along with a program like NATS to get started... then when the time came, throw the merchant account in there as primary and save yourself a few points per transaction.

processing $25k for a merchant account? um....no

We don't process NEAR that much and we have one...just a monthyl fee and small percentage of the transaction is all it costs

Are you sure? I swear I've seen Mitch and Kimmy say otherwise.

I feel fairly safe in saying that if the choice is between iBill and CCBill that you should go with CCBill.

We sent someone to Netbilling recently who was only processing $10k per month and they hooked them up. I know if you are offshore, you must have larger volume but not domestically.

Well I was not really trying to compare iBill with ccBill. I have an iBill account now and trying to decide which new processor I should go with because I'm feed up with iBill. We got Epoch, Paycom, ccBill and Netbilling which one of these are the best all around or are there others? Now to start I would only process around $5000 to $8000 but if things go right I could be up into $12,000 to $15,000.

Netbilling, CCbill and Paycom are all great. Netbilling is different as they process for merchants with their own merchant account. This gives you much more control and you save money too in processing fees and will have better signup conversions as well. We use CCbill as a secondary processor but I would recommend all three.

We use Netbilling for check procesing as well. They charge only 5% for that and the others are around 15%.
