I don't know anything about you, but from reading your pseudo-apology it just shows you have no remorse. You're too busy blaming others for your "prank" to admit you fucked up. You're sending out big "fuck you"s to other people when you are the one who mentioned gfy.com... just plain idiotic. If you are truly a webmaster, then you know shit like this spreads like wildfire on the net... whether it was your intention or not... you fucked up. the least you can do is own up to it and apologize to Lens & Advertisers, etc.

For those of you that think this is a great thing for GFY, and "cool", and think that the only side-effect will be more surfers... you're wrong... this will bring more attention to GFY than ever before from media, legal, gov't agencies, etc... and perhaps Lens, some Advertisers and serious webmasters would prefer to do without that... I'm not saying the GFY was never visited before by those people, but now it's on everyone's Radar screen... some people think it's a surfer board, while others think it's a HACKER board and may assume that Lens made the calls or sanctioned the hack.

so quantum-x, bottom line, don't take this personally, I've got nothing against what you did, making prank calls and recording them, but you may have single-handedly changed the way GFY operates from this day forward... you've already forced Lens to make some simple changes and maybe he's planning drastic ones later... i.e. BANNINGS, or making GFY.com a paid-membership board. I, for one, would pay $5-$10 per month to come and network and do "real" business with "real" webmasters and filter out the noise.

Time will tell...

I'm not sure when you came across my threads, but if anyone has followed them all, you'll see they do start out apologetic. I'm just getting more harassed and frustrated as time goes on.
Like I say, I *do* take full responsibility for stating the URLs. I would be stupid if I tried to deny that.
I have made contact with Lensman, explaining myself / my point of view to him, and I'm totally prepared to take the consequences.

Perhaps I can offer some insight into my reasons for posting my 'fuck yous'.
I'm not a big name here, and never wanted to be. I value my business, my contacts and reputation. I don't talk shit. Look at my post count.

Now, you can call me idiotic if you may, but all I can do is rebuke and say the thruth: I had no idea this would get out. It wasn't my intention. It would make sense, if it was my intention, to put another URL there 1) so GFY wasn't mentioned, 2) so I could make my greedy profits. 3) My hosting, and the other people on the server, wouldn't be affected.

Evidently, it didn't transpire that way. My basis for 'fuck you's is this - I take full responsibilitity for my actions, and they are: recording the calls.
I take diminished responsibility in turning this into an international affair.

If everyone here had respect for GFY, we would have all had a chuckle, and it would have been over.

As for my 'relaxed' approach - I refuse to have arguments with people I don't know. You've formed opinions about me over this situation, which is regretable, but I can't change that.

For the people involved, and who are concerned, I have offered my ful cooperation with what may come, and have made myself availible for contact.

It's all I can do, really.
