Well. I think I might defend myself.
This started as an internal GFY thing.

I put hosted these on my personal website, for GFY consumption.
Now, why did I mention GFY? Spur of the moment, and hey, it would be amusing for the guys on this board.

Now, if we're looking for the big FUCK YOU award, let's look at the people who hotlinked and posted them to various other boards. I have had ICQ's from members here going 'MAN I SPAMMED THEM EVERYWHERE!'.

Big thanks to Vox etc, who when they posted, took off the gfy bits.

Big FUCK YOU's to those from GFY who hotlinked the audio and STOLE the graphics off my website, and then proceeded to skite about it in emails.

It was never my intention to cause ripples the size as this. Let's just keep it in perspective as to the REASON it went public.

Quantum and Smokey gave us great entertainment. There were many others who called celebs but didn't have the balls/setup to record themselves.

The mentioning GFY thing was just an innocent spur of the moment thing as Quantum clearly explained. He did not set out to deliberately cause problems for himself or GFY and I trust there will be no further repercussions for him from within or without GFY. :thumbsup

explain to me how only surfers can see the banners and not webmaster. the worst that will happen to a sponsor is they waste some bandwidth if a surfer goes to their site.

Maybe advertisers should change the banner to surfer banners so they can make money as the webmaster to surfer ratio is totaly off now and so many webmasters are going elsewhere

You know gfy.com is not accesible for non members? I think 1000's of new people would need to sign up to make gfy slower again. Yes there was a short peak yesterday, maybe 20 webmasters didnt check gfy for 2 hours because it was slow...
I think Lensman and the advertisers will manage recover from that issue.
