Never really had a problem with wusage for my freesites.. I use custom software for some other projects..

awstats is my fav, I've used quite a few including webalizer but awstats seems to be the best in terms of features/design and also server resource usage

are any of them out there real time??? I use Extreme tracking, all right, but 15 min. delay, but it is only $15 a quarter.
