i have promoted his program on and off through the years, since he first begun with Teen Goddess through CTC...
He could not cheat through ctc because ctc is third party and dosen't give you that type of options (ctc - click thru calvin).
I am sure he had really good reason not to pay you thefly...

Why do you think he had the CTC option to track signups turned off when Amateur Pages and other programs had this information available to webmasters. He was hiding how many signups we were really sending.

Yeah right. I spent months calling them -- they gave me the run-around -- "the check is in the mail" -- they played dumb for as long as possible. Meanwhile I was on their new proprietary counting software and I was converting better than 1:400. I really needed the money at the time -- I was moving to NY. Every time I called, Brad was in some meeting or moving his boats around -- there was even laughter in the background of some of these calls. They had been paying me thousands of dollars for months and months -- never a kind word or even "thanks"... Anyway I learned my lesson.

Don't trust strangers with your money.

In any case he is not my competition, nor do I want any money from the guy. The most I could hope for would be for him to apologize.

Stop to take a look at what Absolute was doing?! If he had 5000 galleries -- at 50 cents/gallery per day average -- that's $75,000 per month -- or $900,000 per year. This is without any *work* on the part of Absolute Series and does not take into account the money that he is making off his portal and his brand -- affiliate referrals, etc. etc. Surely with $75,000/month he can afford to be shooting his own models and buying his own exclusive photo sets -- and *giving* those away for FREE -- more fuel in the fire.

Sorry to break the news -- but content is relatively cheap compared to how much money is made with the traffic that it produces. The value of content will not increase because girls will still get naked for $200. There is no short supply of women.

This concept of the master TGP empire is totally plausible -- and *because* it is plausible -- it *will* come true. This is not just a joke. This is my prediction of the future. Laugh all you want... but it is *already* happening.

Just imagine what would happen if TheHun started shooting his own models? He will still be driving his Ferrari and eating 3 meals a day -- and you will all be crying.

These are important points that I already addressed. Of course TheHun will never be the only site on the internet -- the world is not black and white like that... nor will anyone ever be able to cover every niche adequately by themselves. BUT as we have all seen -- the trend is for traffic to shift to sites that offer more and more for free. *And* they will continue to "out-free" each other as long as they are still making enough money to comfortably pay the bills...

and because there is no barrier to entry in this business the trend will continue -- college kids building HTML for beer money will always be competing on a level playing field with "the big boys". Fly, I missed it. I think this thread is just hard to follow. By titling it what you did, and not stating that it was a joke, people were immediately defensive, and less open minded when reading it and replying to it. I read it half a dozen times before I realized what concepts you were pushing.

Even scarier though, is the fact that I think I agree with you on most points. Consolidation will occur, leaders will continue to survive, hit counters keep climbing and ratios keep falling, and the trend is for traffic to shift to sites that offer more and more for free. These are all true. The business is maturing. It's just like the net over the last year. The companies without productive business plans continue to die. It's not the end of the world, it just means you better be ahead of the curve or you'll be one that gets marked off the list. If you are on-top of things, you will thrive.

Really, being adult oreinted doesn't change the business aspects of this inustry that much. It's just like every other industry sector. It has it's ups and downs, advances and setbacks, depending on the market place and the industry's ability to deal with that market.

Not ground breaking news, just business.
