These are important points that I already addressed. Of course TheHun will never be the only site on the internet -- the world is not black and white like that... nor will anyone ever be able to cover every niche adequately by themselves. BUT as we have all seen -- the trend is for traffic to shift to sites that offer more and more for free. *And* they will continue to "out-free" each other as long as they are still making enough money to comfortably pay the bills...

-- that's exactly why I made the point that TheHun will still be "eating three meals a day" -- so-fucking-what if his conversions are lower? The hypothetical mammoth Hun shooting his own content is going to lose a few hundred bucks off of each shoot... his conversions to non-pictoral adult ads will not drop -- and *even* if his conversions to the adult-paysites on his page dropped -- he would *still* be making more money because he would have *more* traffic then ever before. Sorry Kimmykim but whirling hit millions on traffic counters still = big profit...

and because there is no barrier to entry in this business the trend will continue -- college kids building HTML for beer money will always be competing on a level playing field with "the big boys". The traffic has been consolidating and will continue to do so -- but because it's still a fun business to be in -- there will always be plenty of sites to choose from -- they will just not make as much money as before. This is not a pipe dream -- it's already here -- and the hit counters keep climbing and ratios keep falling -- write me off as a pot head -- keep your head in the sand...

My customers run paysites, our revenues are steadily increasing.

Fly, I missed it. I think this thread is just hard to follow. By titling it what you did, and not stating that it was a joke, people were immediately defensive, and less open minded when reading it and replying to it. I read it half a dozen times before I realized what concepts you were pushing.

Even scarier though, is the fact that I think I agree with you on most points. Consolidation will occur, leaders will continue to survive, hit counters keep climbing and ratios keep falling, and the trend is for traffic to shift to sites that offer more and more for free. These are all true. The business is maturing. It's just like the net over the last year. The companies without productive business plans continue to die. It's not the end of the world, it just means you better be ahead of the curve or you'll be one that gets marked off the list. If you are on-top of things, you will thrive.

Really, being adult oreinted doesn't change the business aspects of this inustry that much. It's just like every other industry sector. It has it's ups and downs, advances and setbacks, depending on the market place and the industry's ability to deal with that market.

Not ground breaking news, just business.

I have done my research and given you are talking about almost a year and a half ago, I was still able to come up with some information on you. Why don't you tell the truth? Your account was flagged because of a violation of our terms of service and guess what you whined then like you are whining now! Instead of just cancelling your account without pay of any kind, which we had every right too, we came to an agreement. Being that it was a per click program you were in...we agreed to pay per signup for two months of your traffic. This was agreed upon and it was also agreed upon that we did not want anymore of your traffic. You cashed this check which clearly stated that you were being paid a FINAL payment of $30 per signup for two months of traffic. Final being final payment that would be issued to you as an advertiser in our program.

If you had a problem with this then why did you cash that check? Why? Because you were well aware of the circumstances and you are just trying to stir shit now. Well, guess what I have the best damn memory and records on the internet and you are not going to pull this bunch of BS with me.

I thought this was something you heard???
