Void Checks
Last week I received a check dated September 11 2001 (the day of the attacks). There's nothing on the check which says Void after ... days. How long does it usually take before a check is void?

It's usually 90-180 days. Take it to the bank tomorrow and find out!

Unless an expire date is specified on the checks, it should be infinite...

If its not printed the validity is as long as the account is active and has sufficient funds. Most mailers from processors expire incase mailing gets lost.

Many banks do stale date checks after a period of time -- best to check with the issuing bank asap --
