Harleys have alot of parts manufactured overseas. The forks are made by showa, which is a company owned by Honda. Ironic, isnt it? The Honda VTX, GoldWing, 1100 Shadow and a few other bikes over 750cc's are made in Marysville, Ohio by americans. The parts for these bikes are made by nearby manufacturers. Honda created alot of jobs when they built thier plant here 25 years ago, and other companies sprung up to meet he demand for the parts that Honda needed. Die-hard Harley guys hate to hear this kind of shit though. But the fact is, Honda makes a damn good machine.

Here is my 2005 VTX1300c: As you can see, I've done alot of work to it. This is how it looked in December: I put a fat 240mm rear tire and wheel on it I did all the work myself over the past 3 months. Just finished it this morning, too bad the weather here looks like rain all weekend. And you guys that wanna give me shit cause its not a Harley, here is a clue: If I wanted a Harley, I would have bought one.
