Portable, this setup can me moved to any video companys office and encode 40-60 titles a day, most companies don't want to give there masters out (totally understandable) so this setup comes to them...

That looks super sweet, buy why encode using laptops? is that all you had or did you go out and buy them? we have 12+ encoding machines and ordering heaps more and there half the price of laptops and twice the speed.

Ahh I see in the shadows the Lacies hooked up to each, very nice. 1 terabtye ones I think, we have quite a few here too. Not as pretty setup we have but a lot more grunt. Just big ugly massive servers with some lacies to pretty things up a little
