we using on a testbase allready muticast.
some perfomance test's shows hat a unix mc perfomance is better than a windows box.

but if u use the win-media-server
is a good product and u dont pay a lot $$$$

i know few unix server that handle straeming ... but this also coast a lot of $$$$....

I just started using http://www.kikko.com 2 weeks ago. Their prices are amazing, and so far I am serving around 15gigs per day, with no slowdowns whatsoever.

The only warning I would give you is that you will need to read the online manuals thoroughly and set-up your own server. The tech support is not terribly receptive to helping with set-up problems.

dewpoint be really care ful with kikko. They started out great with us then stopped answering after a few weeks. But they kept billing for months after we cancelled. I just got another invoice this month & we cancelled mid summer.

I'm going slowly with them. I need a second server now, so I will get the new one from a different hosting company and make sure I have everything backed up, just in case.
