For a college project, my team has to raise about $4000 (within a 6 week period) for a 5 year old with cerebral palsy. With the $4000 we are going to purchase a customized stander, so that one day maybe this child will have the ability and strength to walk.

Several car washes, bake sales, garage sales, all seem easy - but will not produce the funds necessary.

What are some fundraising ideas, that you can think of, that could produce atleast $1000 dollars?

Current Ideas:
Bowling/Pool/Poker Tournaments
Raffle - what to raffle though?
Golf Tournament - will take too long to setup

We are doing one here for my next door neighbours boy - he needs an infusion pump over $6800. We are having a poker game where you buy tickets to play and stuff the fire dept. is having a car wash day, plus setting up a toll booth sort of between towns. Plus placed donation cans at the local stores for donations. So any extra ideas will also help us
