:mad BEWARE! Ebay Phony Emails!

Well they are at it again, phony ebay solicitations saying your account has been suspended, click here to resolve!

When you go there you find a (non secure) form asking for your username, password etc..

I didn't fall for it, but I'm sure there are thousands of people that do

What almost tricked me once was one of those Ebay Second Chance Offers that scammers send out when you big on a big item that doesn't meet the reserve. I buy stuff from sellers with legitimate second chance offers all the time. I got one once that was for a $4k auction that I lost...was excited to get it and had my credit card out before I noticed that the url went to an IP set up to look like Ebay and not Ebay.
