Well they are at it again, phony ebay solicitations saying your account has been suspended, click here to resolve!

When you go there you find a (non secure) form asking for your username, password etc..

I didn't fall for it, but I'm sure there are thousands of people that do :mad:

I'm sure its even worse now with the firefox hole. =/

Got one from a fake bank, said to hurry and update my information before Feb 30 2005 ....hahaha

yeah, I fixed that problem on my firefox running computers.

Sad part is, it works for them and they get a % of people responding :Oh crap

What almost tricked me once was one of those Ebay Second Chance Offers that scammers send out when you big on a big item that doesn't meet the reserve. I buy stuff from sellers with legitimate second chance offers all the time. I got one once that was for a $4k auction that I lost...was excited to get it and had my credit card out before I noticed that the url went to an IP set up to look like Ebay and not Ebay.
