:stop MerchSolutions, 2000charge and FocusSolution <= The Full Story.

All right, as promised here's the full story on MerchSolutions :

I am under contract with FocusSolutions, a third party processor using 2000charge as its gateway provider. The bank FocusSolutions was using to process has pulled out of adult and therefore, it was the end on the line for the initial contract. 2000charge informed me that they had another solution that would allow me continued processing for my sites. They sent me a new contract to sign.

The new contract was from MerchSolutions. I had read a few things about them on the boards and had my doubts but since I didn't have any other option that would allow me to save my membership base (nobody wants to lost the rebills), I signed and returned it.

FocusSolutions sends me my last payout due 10 days late and MerchSolutions takes over the processing thru 2000charge's gateway. To me, everything continued as usual. The rates, the holdback and the payout dates remained the same. The first payout from MerchSolutions never came in and the second one either. Now we are 8 days into the third one...

What I didn't know was that FocusSolutions contracted MerchSolutions to replace them for the adult processing so they (Focus) were the ones behind the new contract 2000charge had sent me. I thought 2000charge had fixed me up directly so this only complicated things. Note: I represent half of what FocusSolutions is owed by MerchSolutions.

Last week, I was informed by 2000charge that FocusSolutions had received a wire covering only half of the first pay period. FocusSolutions held back this amount for 3 weeks over the pretext that they were waiting on MerchSolutions to send them the rest. They didn't want to send me a partial payout because it would complicate their accounting.
I kindly asked 2000charge to get FocusSolutions to wire me those funds right away and they finally did it this Friday. I still don't have credit for that wire on my bank account by the way...

Yesterday, 2000charge informed me that FocusSolutions had received a new wire from MerchSolutions (as promised by Ross) but commented that it was only partial. FocusSolutions said that MerchSolutions will wire the difference next Friday.

I held MerchSolutions directly responsible for everything but it sure looks like the two others deserve a good spanking as well. Your opinion?

I will post follow-ups on this story...

P.S :
The staff at 2000charge has been great. Their customer service is tops, they stay on top of things and contact me several times a day with an update.
They are only the gateway provider but they should be more careful when recommending a processing solution to their clients. I've been processing with 2000charge since November 2002 and only had a problem when they lost their merchant account last year. They have nonetheless paid out all the holdbacks, which have been released. That was just to set the record straight.

2000charge is good company. Impressive to see merchsolutions scamming pro people in the billing business.

Hmm, I like the guys at 2000Charge, and I think their Euro product is a very good one. I'm kind of amazed that they are handling their clients this way in regards to a third party solution - especially one that doesn't have enough history to be considered reliable and may or may not be aggregating without card association approval.

so instead of listening to all the massive amounts of warnings, you continued to use dingbat and mechsolutions to avoid losing all those rebills, thus all of have done is committed more members to your site and are going to lose all those rebills plus the others you didnt want to lose. Why people, why?

Yes, that's true but I must say that Ross is keeping in touch daily which is a sign of good faith.

Oh did I mention that if you need a merchant account and you've got at least 3 months of clean history, I'd be more than happy to talk to you about it.

i no longer feel sorry for people using merchsolutions or doing business with dingo aka ross. This is not the first time he has setup a fake billing operation and it won't be the last. Just like he did with internationalbilling he'll simply decide to pay off a few big sponsors so we see topics like "Merchsolutions paid me !!!!" and then everybody goes and runs to them for processing only to repeat the process.

Dingo was, maybe even still is a spammer. I remember him from one defunct board and he was notorious for trading the shittiest lists known to mankind...in fact, the green vest mafia owned him more than once on this.

I could write an essay about what I know and have observed. I have gotten back into the whole adult thing last spring. So while I have kept an eye on thing during the year or so while I was absent, I haven't kept myself aware of everything during that time period.

But to make a long story short, Dingo was to spamming what Lionel Hutz is to lawyers. He diseappeared for a while and first thing I know, he's one of the biggest processors around.

It's normal to grow up in the world, but it is not normal to become king shit of the processing business overnight. He looks to have tried just that, and failed...again
