Govt agencies to complain about UK bank fraud (moneybookers)?
Which government agencies in the UK oversee banks
and businesses engaging in similar activity? Months ago I recieved a sum of money via Moneybookers, a PayPal wannabe located in the UK. A week or so after I tried to withdraw the money to my bank account they sent me an email saying that the transfer didn't go through and then that was it - no more contact. I've emailed them many times since then and they don't even bother to make any excuses for stealing my money, they just ignore my emails completely. The phone number listed on their web site has been out of service for some time so I'm thinking that the next step is to file complaints with appropriate regulatory agencies. Can anyone suggest which agencies I should file complaints with?

If email don't work - send em a fax at this number: 0709 204 2001 But.. I would not waste time on em - a week is enough. There are some things on their website that.. gives cause for concern, - and better they get a bulllet up the ass. If you continue to have no response, - don't wait much longer - contact the FSA and they will breath heavily all over em and take whatever action is appropriate. The FSA have a website.... http://www.fsa.gov.uk

Ray.. Dunno what phone number you are using, but here's one +44-870-125-4861.
I just checked out re the "cause for concern" above and it's not valid and there are logical reasons behind it. Moneybookers do a lot of moving of funds for gambling operations and this is tightly regulated, so should be fine with an FSA complaint.
