I'm trying real hard to show some restraint here... but it's gettin' to be a real difficult task. I am sick and FUCKING tired of these wannabe designers coming in and spamming their fucking shit all over the place, cutting our throats. This is fucking bullshit. Ya know... I'm damn fucking good at what I do. I design some killer muther fucking shit. But I will not lower myself to whoring out banners for two fucking dollars to steal business away from my colleagues. Okay, Okay. First off, Teen Angel is very sorry for what she has done. She was almost in tears when she told me she screwed up.
Is there anyone in OZ willing to give her a spanking and has a digital camera they can bring? I will say a couple things in her defense, first off, while she only has a few posts here, she does post on another board quite frequently. In fact, as I recall there are even some incriminating pics of her there I recently told her that this was a cool board, and that she should check it out (NO, I did not tell her to spam it, she came up with that idea on her own) You must take into consideration that she is young and blonde. Also, she does do some nice work, we recently added her to our graphics department, and while she mentions $2.50 banners, those are just for buttons, but she does nice work for very reasonable prices. If you go to the thread where we showed our desktops, that is she. So come on, be easy on her, and just tell her to GFY. Teen Angel, I have no personal beef with you, but I also think that it is a pretty fucked up thing to do to come in here spamming your $2 banners ... Let's understand something here ... Some of us support our families with web design ... we are professionals in both quality and work ethics ... 1. Just because you got a copy of Photoshop off of Morpheus, and fooled around in it enough to make something that closely resmebles a banner, does not make you a web designer by any means ... 2. $2.50 for a banner ... GET FUCKING REAL !!! That is the BIGGEST slap in the face to all of us supporting our families off of this, and is definately NOT going to earn you any graphics designer friends ... 3. Generally speaking, most designers time is worth $100 an hour for original artwork ... so unless you are putting out a banner every 2 minutes, you are making yourself a photoshop crackwhore! If you are any good at all, like I have heard it suggested, you are ripping yourself off, as well as making it virtually IMPOSSIBLE for us web designers to earn a living ! I do not like pissing on anybody, it is just not in my nature, and especially don't like it when the pissee is female, but I really feel strongly that this CUT THROAT web design has to stop ... The average "cost" to assemble an entry level domestic automobile (such as a FORD TAURUS, or CHEVY CAVALIER) is less than $10,000 ... but what would happen if CHEVY decided to lower it's price on the cavalier to $9,995 ??? I'll tell you what would happen .... 6 months from now, both companies would be bankrupt, Ford because it could not compete at those prices, and Chev because although they sold a SHITLOAD of cars .... they did not turn a profit. {/end of Economics 101} ------------------  Airforce come and dey flatten your home !!! This board "hosts" several graphic designers that post more than frequently and as far as i remember (and i read/post here almost everyday) have never spammed their offering services. I read Teen Angel's page reply and i see that realised his/her mistake. Everybody does mistakes and the cool part is that at the end each one of us realise them and things roll better. Through time you'll see that the majority of webmasters here are real good people and helpful. Give some time on it and you'll see it too.

spacedog, spend few bucks and go for paidhosting your sites. You're building an adult directory on freehost! Don't put yourself in the position to see your sites deleted some months ago and all your work gone. Because this happens more than often! Respect your work and it will payback.
