WTF - changing email disactivated my a/c??? - GoFuckYourself.com

All I did was change my email in the user profil. Now I can't reply or post a new topic... instead I get:

They might, like some Vbulletin boards, send a confirmation email to your new address. Which may have been spam filtered or not recieved.

thanks guys - yes the email had been sent but it was filtered to junk grrrrr
Had not seen anything when I changed the email that it now req'd activation.
