Why is it so damn expensive to hire someone???

I trying to find and hire sales reps for my mainstream activity worldwide but jobseekers and monster.co.uk (to name only those 2) charge $400 just to search their database for resumes. That's insane! They should allow employers to search the database and then charge for the contact details of the potential candidate for example. The way its done now, I could end up paying 400 bucks and encounter a database full of shity candidatures. Screw them!

nah, monster gets a huge response in our experience, and if $400 is a problem, then you might want to reconsider dishing out more $ for an employee....

I hired and fired 3 marketing managers in a row. Gave them 2 weeks each to prove themselves.

Its very hard and expensive to find good people.

You might pay out a little bit more getting started, but I have had great luck staffing offices using temp agencies.

You just tell them what you want, how much you want to pay and they do all the screening and testing of all candidates.

Use them and abuse them and if you want to hire them full time...you can. If you want to get rid of them...you can do that too.

The Agency Reps are ALWAYS eager to work with you in placing the right candidates.

No shit! I agree with you 100%. Hit me up if you're still looking for a marketing guy...I may be able to help you out.

I'm looking for importers/distributors/sales reps. for my special gourmet food products made only in Spain. Anybody looking for a job, hit me up! Full or part time. Work from home possible <= YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ME ANYTHING TO START WORKING and I will pay you and cover all costs.

Candyflip: I can't use temp agencies in what I'm looknig for here. Thanks for the suggestion!

Please hit me up. I don't want to post the url for my mainsteam biz on an adult board. Let me just say that you have to sell food, very very good food. A great product you won't find anywhere else. Its like Caviar, high end and specific to a certain type of market.
